Volunteers
Volunteers are needed for all stages of the JSHS event.

  • JSHS Competition Presentation Judges - watch students present their research, ask questions after presentation, and submit scoresheets and comments. Your scores will be combined with other judges and used to determine who will advance to national competition.
    Background - Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate in a science/technology/engineering/math field required. Experience reading and critiquing high school papers a plus but not required.
    Dates - Saturday March 19, 2011
    Time Commitment - generally from 1pm - 6pm OR 1pm - 10:30pm
    Location - Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, South Minneapolis

  • General Volunteers - Help out in the JSHS office or with registration.
    Background - Quick at learning new tasks and good at helping people with questions.
    Dates - Saturday March 19, 2011
    Time Commitment - depends on your availability
    Location - Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, South Minneapolis
